Unlocking Apple Vision Pro’s Potential: Discover 12 New Virtual Keyboard Languages Hinting at Future Launch Locations • Phones Canada Blog

Apple is rumored to be expanding the language options for its Vision Pro virtual keyboard, with code suggesting that the mixed reality headset may launch in new markets soon. Currently, the Vision Pro virtual keyboard supports only English (US) and emojis, but indications are that 12 new languages could be added, opening up the possibility of a wider international release.

The newly discovered code hints at the addition of languages such as Cantonese, Traditional Chinese, English (Australia), French (Canada), German (Germany), Japanese, Korean, and more. If these languages are indeed being incorporated into the virtual keyboard, it could mean that countries like Canada, China, Australia, Japan, Singapore, the UK, France, Germany, and South Korea may soon see the arrival of Apple’s Vision Pro headset.

Industry experts have long speculated about Canada being among the next markets to receive support for Apple Vision Pro. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg has been vocal about Apple’s plans to expand into new regions by the end of 2024. While Apple has yet to confirm these expansion plans officially, signs point towards a potential rollout in the near future.

With Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference on the horizon in June, there is a chance that they may use this platform to unveil their roadmap for Vision Pro for the rest of the year. The pieces seem to be falling into place for an exciting expansion of Apple’s mixed reality technology into new territories. Stay tuned for updates on Phones Canada blog as we track this development closely.
