Don’t believe Apple lacks innovation! These iPhone 15 features will make Android users envious

Apple has long been criticized for not pushing smartphone innovation forward as aggressively as its competitors in the Android camp. However, as someone who has been following the industry closely, I can confidently say that Apple is indeed capable of innovation, just in a different way.

While Android devices often boast flashy features like periscope zoom cameras, Night Mode photography, and high-refresh rate displays, Apple focuses on more subtle innovations. Take last year’s iPhone, for example, which introduced the “Dynamic Island” display cutout. While the name may sound silly, it was a smart and cheeky implementation of a display cutout.

This year, with the iPhone 15, Apple continues to prove its capability for innovation. Though the iPhone 15 may not look drastically different on the surface, there are several features and upgrades that set it apart from its Android counterparts.

One standout feature is the iPhone 15 Pro’s primary 48MP camera, which Apple claims is equivalent to four different camera lenses. This innovation allows for optical-quality 24MP photos and videos at various focal lengths, providing users with greater versatility and image quality.

Another groundbreaking feature is the iPhone 15’s 24MP photo mode. This default resolution for taking photos produces sharper, more detailed, and more natural-looking images compared to Android devices. Apple’s achievement in this area is both technically innovative and practical.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max also brings innovation to its zoom camera. While Apple may be late to the game in terms of implementing a 5x zoom camera, their solution is unique and compact, making efficient use of space. This innovation not only allows for more components in the device but also hints at the potential inclusion of a 5x zoom camera in smaller iPhone models in the future.

Apple’s new Action button on the iPhone 15 Pro offers an exciting and customizable feature. Through Apple’s Shortcuts app, users can assign the Action button to perform a wide range of tasks and actions across multiple apps. The possibilities are endless, allowing for seamless automation and convenience.

Lastly, Apple’s use of titanium in the iPhone 15 Pro’s frame is a practical innovation. Titanium is lightweight and strong, making the device lighter overall. This switch to titanium has caught the attention of competitors like Samsung, with rumors suggesting they may adopt a similar approach in their upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra.

In conclusion, while it may seem like Apple is lagging behind in terms of flashy smartphone features, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro demonstrate that the company is capable of thinking outside the box and delivering meaningful innovations. These innovations may not always be immediately apparent, but they contribute to the overall user experience and make Apple devices stand out in their own way.
