Discover the New Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: A Game-Changer in the Foldable Phone Market with macOS Integration!

Vivo’s Upcoming Foldable Duo: The Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro

Rumors have been swirling about vivo potentially exiting the foldable market, but before we delve into that, let’s take a closer look at the anticipated vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro.

The Rumor Mill
There has been speculation that both Oppo and vivo were considering stepping away from the foldable market, leaving Samsung and Huawei to dominate. However, Oppo quickly dispelled these rumors with an official statement, while vivo has remained silent on the matter.

What to Expect from the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro
The upcoming X Fold 3 Pro is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It will boast an internal display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners on both the inner and outer screens. In terms of photography and videography, the X Fold 3 Pro is rumored to feature a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 64MP periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide lens.

Battery-wise, users can anticipate a large 5700mAh battery with support for 50W wireless charging tech and 120W wired fast charging. While global availability remains unclear at this time, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is expected to debut in China first.

The Lighter Side: Vivo X Fold 3
In mid-January of this year, rumors began circulating about the vanilla vivo X Fold 3 potentially being the lightest foldable device on the market. With expected dimensions of just 5mm when unfolded and weight estimated between 220 grams and 229 grams, it could potentially steal the crown from its competitors.

However, sacrifices may be made for this lighter build as certain features such as the periscope telephoto camera, ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, and wireless charging option may be omitted compared to its Pro counterpart.

Is that macOS?
Intriguingly enough, prominent tipster Ice Universe recently shared alleged live images of the vivo X Fold 3 (the non-Pro variant) displaying what appears to be macOS. This has sparked curiosity about whether vivo’s upcoming foldable may have remote control capabilities for Mac devices.

As we await further details on these exciting new devices from vivo, stay tuned for updates on their release dates and additional features.
