New Google Photos update introduces a helpful tool for creating video highlight reels

Google Photos has introduced a new video tool that allows users to easily create highlight videos to share with friends and family. This update is available for both Android and iOS devices, although it may not be accessible to everyone at this time.

To access the new video creation tool, simply open Google Photos, tap on the plus icon at the top of the gallery, and select “Highlight video.” You can enter specific words in the search bar to allow the AI-powered tool to create a personalized video based on your preferences.

This feature is particularly useful if you want to compile photos taken in a specific location or during a specific time period, as it adds more meaning to the video. Additionally, you can add music and sync the video with the music to give it a more professional look.

Along with highlight videos, this new tool also enables users to create albums and collages, catering to those who enjoy organizing their media content in different ways. These creations can be easily shared with friends and family.

It is important to note that Google has not specified if this feature is limited to the United States or if it is being rolled out globally. Additionally, this update seems to be a staged rollout, so it may take some time before it is available to everyone. We recommend being patient if you do not see the new AI-powered video tool in your app yet.
